Before you can use a Firehose loader, you must force the Nokia 3.4 into (also known as download mode).
This is the most challenging step for beginners. Because modern Nokia devices do not have physical "Download" buttons, you usually have to trigger EDL mode through specific button combinations while plugging the phone into the computer, or by disassembling the phone and shorting the hardware "EDL test points" (also known as Deep Flash mode) on the motherboard.
