Simply follow these steps in reverse order.

Slide the large plastic service cover downward toward the front edge of the laptop. Lift the panel off and set it aside. Step 3: Upgrading RAM and Storage (CRUs)

Never skip this step. Working on a laptop with a live power source can short-circuit the motherboard.

Work slowly around the perimeter, popping clips loose. Do not use a metal tool – it will mar the plastic.

Flip the keyboard over toward the trackpad.
