If your printer displays an error screen or turns off, you missed a step. Disconnect the power cord, wait 10 seconds, plug it back in, and try the sequence again.
The printer does not have a physical sensor to detect a full waste ink pad. Instead, it relies on a digital counter.
This occurs if the printer is not in Service Mode, or if you opened the software before putting the printer into Service Mode. Close the software, restart the printer in Service Mode, and try again.
The selected function is not supported by this printer model. Select "Main" instead of "Platen" for the absorber type. The software cannot communicate with the printer hardware.
To save the new changes to the printer's internal memory chips, you must cycle the power correctly:
