PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX offers a good amount of replay value:
To manage the chaos, Pac-Man has a few new tricks. Most notably, he can now trigger a bomb, which sends all active ghosts back to the center of the maze, acting as a panic button to avoid losing a life. Furthermore, the game introduces a "slow-motion" feature that triggers when you get extremely close to a ghost, giving you a split-second to react and avoid a collision. These features reduce frustration but don't make the game any less tense; the scoring penalties associated with using bombs keep the challenge alive.
: Early versions of the game, such as the Aug 9, 2010 prototype , often exist in similar archive formats. These versions sometimes contain different title screens or music than the final release.
If the game fails to launch, download the DirectX End-User Runtimes from Microsoft.
