Indian women have reclaimed Pranayama and Asanas not as spiritual duty, but as science-backed stress relief. Ayurveda is having a renaissance—women are checking their Dosha (Vata/Pitta/Kapha) before buying a cleanser.

Living in joint families is still common. This structure offers a robust support system for childcare and domestic duties, but it also requires women to continuously negotiate personal boundaries and compromise.
