This paper theorizes the non-existent yet structurally necessary term Gobaku Moe Mama Tsurezure . We argue that while no canonical text bears this name, the four elements form a logical circuit in contemporary Japanese subculture: gobaku (error/leakage) enables moe (affection for fiction), which often attaches to mama (maternal figures), producing tsurezure (melancholic idleness). Using case studies from Yotsuba&! , Wolf Children , and 2channel archival posts, we demonstrate that accidental communication failures produce the most durable forms of moe and that maternal characters uniquely channel tsurezure . We conclude by proposing Gobaku Moe Mama Tsurezure as a neologism for “the bittersweet feeling of seeing a motherly character due to a typo or misdirected post.”
